The Accountant will be in charge of the preparation and review of management accounting for one the largest property portfolios in the UK market, and liaise with various stakeholders internally and externally. Key Responsibilities: Oversee a multi-company property portfolio within the UK jurisdictionReview and control company-level Net Operating Income and Balance SheetHandle accruals and pre-paymentsLiaise with external advisors (auditors, property managers) for consistent and timely accounting informationPrepare quarterly management accounts and annual statutory accounts (IFRS or UK GAAP)Manage UK VAT returnsAccurately report property disposals and profit on saleFacilitate acquisition entriesProvide accurate financial information to support asset managers' decision-makingKey Skills:ACCA, ACA, CIMA Qualified Accountant Relevant experience in property accounting preferably in real estate investment trustsYardi experience is advantageousStrong excel skills Excellent communication skillsIf you are looking to join one of the Europe's most successful property investment firms and progress your career in property accounting further, be sure to apply ASAP!
