On offer is a rare opportunity to join the company on a 10-12 month fixed term contract basis to cover maternity leave. The office is based in the beautiful coastal town of Newquay. The role has remote / Hybrid options & the ideal candidate will be based in the South West with the ability to travel to the office in Cornwall at least once per month.
In this role you will be Working with the finance manager and will be responsible for the preparation of the monthly and annual management accounts and providing associated analysis, and commentary behind the figures. This role also is responsible for providing budget holders across the business with the necessary financial information to enable them to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
This is a fantastic position for a Management Accountant to join an industry leader in a fast paced & varied 12 month fixed term contract with remote / hybrid working options.
Monitor & report the commercial performance of the business.
Preparation of Monthly and Annual Accounts.
Month end reconciliations including bank accounts, sales and purchase ledgers and other balance sheet accounts.
Provide analysis to budget holders in relation to expenditure incurred.
Qualified/Part-Qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
Advanced excel and data analysis skills - this role is excel heavy so ability to analyse data and perform pivot tables is essential
Very strong academic record and interpersonal skills Dependent on experience
