Account Senior

Accountant required full or part-time, for a boutique Accountancy Practice near Hook, Hampshire. The ideal Accountant is confident and experienced, able to fit into this easy-going but hardworking and friendly team. You'll have the opportunity to work with a wide range of owner-managed businesses and offer consistent, rounded services. A small owner run practice who boasts good tenure in its employees and is experiencing growth in their portfolio, opening up space for an experienced accountant.�

The ideal candidate will come from an Accountancy Practice, will have demonstrable experience undertaking client-facing duties, and offering full business service including Financial and Management accounts, business advice, Tax and VAT services.�

Role and Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.


• Prepare personal and company tax returns.


• Utilize cloud accounting software, Xero, Quickbooks, and Taxcalc to manage client accounts efficiently.


• Engage directly with clients to address and resolve financial queries and issues.


• Support business development for clients and provide advice�


• Work with the broader team where needed to support client portfolio�

Your requirements:�

• Experience within UK Accountancy Practice�


• AAT Qualified or�ACCA or ACA Part / Fully Qualified�


• Experience using a range of software


• Experience using TaxCalc�beneficial�


• Keen to learn and develop professional skills�
