Our client is seeking an Account Manager to join their team working in the Water industry. The role will involve hybrid working with some travel around the Lincolnshire/Humberside area.
Responsibilities:
* Engage with customers and prospects to understand and meet their sales and service needs.
* Develop and execute comprehensive customer account sales plans, from generating quotes to processing purchase orders.
* Manage customer satisfaction, addressing and escalating any concerns for prompt resolution.
* Coordinate support resources to maintain and expand existing accounts while closing new business opportunities.
* Participate in plant visits, audits, surveys, and trials; conduct water analysis/testing and provide detailed reports.
* Implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve sales goals within your assigned territory/market.
* Meet or exceed assigned quotas for both activities and results.
* Promote safety, teamwork, and company strategies and initiative.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably within the water and process chemicals industry.
* Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct water testing and analysis.
* Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
