We are looking for an experienced Account Manager for a company based in Southam on Southam Drive.

The role is office based but some flexibility will be given to occasional home working where necessary.

Monday – Friday 8.30 – 17.30 (30 minutes lunch break) 1 in 4 Saturday 8.30-12.30 which can be done at home once full training has been done.

25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Upon successful completion of the probationary period and training the successful candidate will be added to a bonus scheme based on customer sales to target which can add up to an additional £500 plus per month.

Working within a team of 9 staff.

The role will include:

Managing a customer base to maximise sales of premium, house brands (Company controlled secondary brands within the UK) and budget product
Developing close relationships with these customers enabling greater influence on the customer purchase
To give technical advice on the product
To advise customers of short or late deliveries
Work within the team to support each other in maximising sales and customer service
To be able to identify potential new business either with existing customers or new business
To manage the customer database and identify declining customer sales and units
To manage customers credit limits and debts
To help manage the customers transactional websites, Social Media pages, Google My Business
To supply market information about competitors to the Company Management
Very occasionally attend shows to promote the brands
Dealing with inbound sales enquiries, processing orders, chasing deliveries The ideal candidate:

Good communication skills verbal, written, email
To be comfortable talking on the phone, with a diverse range of personnel from Business Owners, Directors, Managers, Accounts and fitters
Good IT skills. Keyboard skills will be a given, the advantage of having a good knowledge of Excel, DocuSign, and experience in transactional websites
To be able to work within the team to the benefit of all
Quick customer service in answering calls, enquiries and processing orders
Good listening skills, empathy with customer
A resilient personality, to be able to deal with occasional difficult customer calls
