Job Description: Are you an ACCA-qualified accountant with a flair for portfolio management and a knack for nurturing client relationships? Key Responsibilities:




  • Portfolio Management: Oversee a diverse portfolio of client accounts, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and adherence to regulatory standards. Provide strategic financial advice tailored to each client's unique needs.

  • Tax Work: Manage and execute all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and reporting for clients. Stay abreast of the latest tax laws and regulations to offer proactive tax strategies.

  • Client Relationship Development: Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their business objectives and delivering outstanding service. Act as a trusted advisor, offering insights and solutions that drive their business forward.

  • Accounting Software Expertise: Utilize and optimize accountancy software suites, with a strong emphasis on Xero and Sage. Ensure seamless integration and functionality to support clients' financial operations.

  • Audit and Independent Examination: Conduct and support audit and independent examination processes. While prior experience in this area is preferred, a keen willingness to develop these skills is essential.



Qualifications:




  • ACCA Qualification: Fully qualified ACCA accountant with a proven track record in a practice environment.

  • Experience: Demonstrable experience in portfolio management, accounts, and tax work within an accountancy practice.

  • Client Management: Exceptional ability to develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.

  • Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in accountancy software, particularly Xero and Sage. Familiarity with other accounting tools is a plus.

  • Audit Skills: Experience with audit and independent examination processes is preferred but not mandatory.
