Our client operates within the Life Science sector and has a permanent vacancy for an Account Manager. The Account Manager position is part of the UK market region, operating from home office, and is responsible for looking after existing and new customers in UK.





Responsibilities:



• To look after a large established customer base in your assigned area, and continually develop new potentials to further expand your success.



• Implement appropriate actions to achieve your sales targets.



• Observe relevant competitor activities and develop operative measures together with your manager.



• In addition to customer visits, you will also participate in trade fairs and other events - your travel rate will be approx. 80 %.



• Strengthen existing customer relationships and generate new business



• Conclude sales negotiations successfully



• Develop and maintain the sales network for the assigned region, working with management to achieve Top 10 Objectives, Key Account Strategy and Targets



• Update the CRM with all tasks, opportunities, meeting/call notes and future tasks





Tasks:



• To act as an Ambassador at all times



• Ensure correct health and safety practice is adhered to



• Ensure targets are achieved



• Regular meetings for feedback within the group





Requirements



A graduate with a degree in the Life sciences and/or a good lab background.



(Preferably) 1-2 years of professional experience in Field Sales or Internal Sales, preferably in the Life Science industry with professional competence



Good IT skills - this includes the MS Office family as well as CRM systems



A fluent English speaker who likes to be on the road
