London & Partners operates a paid for partnership programme for the Tourism sector. This delivers significant income to the organisation which is then re-invested to deliver increased economic impact for London. We have more than 350 partners from across the tourism sector and work with them strategically to ensure London remains a leading global destination for leisure tourism, business events and major sporting and cultural events. We work closely with our partners to shape and deliver London’s visitor strategy.
As Account Manager, Tourism Partnership, you are responsible for the successful management of Premium Tourism Members by building long-term, strong and sustainable relationships with outstanding client service. You will deliver partner benefits that add value, ensuring high levels of partner satisfaction and retention rates. You are also responsible for the recruiting of new tourism partners and premium members to the L & P Tourism Partnership Programme to achieve agreed targets. Key TasksEffective account management of Members to deliver great customer service; build deep relationships and work closely with them to deliver against partner objectives.Develop a strong understanding of the business objectives of partners and to identify opportunities for upselling across L & P.Work collaboratively across London & Partners to identify opportunities for partners to optimise their return on investment.Retention of partnership income.Proactive recruitment of new Partners/ Premium Members to L & P’s tourism Partnership Programme to achieve agreed revenue targets.Build and maintain an accurate pipeline in Salesforce.Establish and maintain relationships with key associations and representative bodies to develop industry knowledge, insights and relationships.Act as brand ambassador for L&P by proactively attending relevant networking events and exhibitions to build pipeline of new members.Admin tasks including invoicing and setting up members.Reacting to and converting membership enquiries into salesAccurate reporting of partnership income and forecastingUndertake other reasonable duties as allocated by the Head of Tourism PartnershipsYou’ll have/bringBrilliant relationship managerNatural business developer – skilled in commercial account management experience to retain and grow incomeProven track record of proactive new business development and achieving targetsSuccessfully uses innovative and creative problem solving to implement plans and objectivesAble to adjust comfortably to, and remain productive within, the context of ambiguous and fast changing priorities and cultural agendas.Successfully uses business challenges and opportunities to improve team and personal performanceAble to communicate a clear sense of purpose, direction and success to internal & external stakeholders in a self-assured and articulate mannerInherently self-motivated, resilient, and able to motivate and encourage others, quickly gaining buy-in from relevant stakeholders (internal & external) through persuasive and impactful communication.
