Our work includes the UK execution of all major franchise launches, and management of local teams across EMEABose – leading audio technology brand; our work includes delivering UK comms for headphone and speaker launches, and supporting partnerships work to tell their ‘Sound is Power’ storyHurtigruten – cruise brand with over 130 years’ experience sailing the coast of Norway. The role of the UK press office includes issuing the latest news from the company, securing media for press trips and generating creative ideas to drive cut through in mediaTHE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIESOwn the mid-level client relationship and support the Account Director to ensure the client is kept fully up to date with activity on the account, adding value and managing client expectationsBecome an integral part of the account planning process, contributing to the development and implementation of client projectsPassionate storyteller, with a proven ability to develop media strategies and influencer plans, build compelling content ideas for clients, and identify news-hijacking and proactive storytelling opportunitiesDriving force of campaign delivery, creating timelines and ensuring that the client, partners and the internal team are aware of key milestones and delivery datesDemonstrates expert knowledge in all thing’s social media, and stays up-to-date with social and cultural trendsAbility to lead on post project wrap-ups, converting campaign results into an actionable and insightful report which shows the true value of the campaignExcellent understanding of the media landscape, including new media channels and social-first publishersDESIRED ATTRIBUTESDriven and self-motivated – has experience in managing members of a team, and maintaining momentum behind workConfident problem solver, especially in a fast-paced environmentSuper organised with a keen attention to detail and focus on continuously improving client service and resultsTeam player, able to work within large teams, manage junior team members and report into senior membersStrong and convincing presentation skillsPassionate about the world of entertainmentPassion for creativity, ideas, new and different approachesStrong media and influencer relationships in consumer segmentsKEY H&K BENEFITS25 days & (3 days at Christmas) annual leaveEnhanced maternity & paternity schemeVouchers & extra day’s holiday for key milestone anniversariesOur dedicated interactive training academy - ‘The Hub’Cycle to work schemeWellness programmesWeekly social eventsAdditional wellness days off for active commutingOUR LONDON OFFICEH&K employs over 300 people in the UK, and our stunning Southwark offices run over two floors as part of the larger WPP Campus, Rose Court.
