What we are looking for:
A highly motivated and experienced individual to join our growing team in an Account Manager position to extend our reach through expert discovery and exploration of new and untapped business opportunities and relationships.
Candidate requirements:
Based in London/South region
Possess a full, clean driving licence and be prepared to travel regularly across the UK (specifically London & South region)
Demonstrate drive and ambition in a result focussed role
Have a proven record of success in an Account Management or Business Development role
Have a track record of delivering strong lead generation and sales performance
Activities and key responsibilities:
Generate leads using the company’s CRM system and other sources of information, with a focus on the company’s exterior lighting product range
Manage relationships and maintain regular contact with customers to ensure that the needs of the customer are being satisfied and with a view to developing further business opportunities from within that account
Arrange and attend telesales calls and communicate with potential and current clients to profile and qualify prospective sales, using your knowledge of the company product portfolio
Visit potential and current customers
Prepare quotations and proposals for presentation to customers and prospective customers
Manage opportunities within the company CRM and keep information accurate and up to date
Work with others within the commercial team and contribute to the company marketing strategy and decisions
Generate reports summarising market performance and present these to senior management
Report to the senior management team on a regular basis and ad-hoc basis, as necessary
Essential education/experience/attributes:
Experience using ERP/CRM systems
Experience using MS Office applications
Have a minimum 3-year experience in a B2B sales role
Show autonomy, initiative and organisation skills
Full command of the English language (written and spoken)
Desired education/experience/attributes:
Technical understanding of lighting technology and applications in the field
Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills

Salary:
£40,000 – £45,000 base salary plus commission
