three days The roleWe’re now looking for a motivated Account Handler, (ideally with a General Insurance background) to join us here at Simpson & Parsons, who are part of the Jensten Group. Established in the heart of the English Lake District since 1983, Simpson & Parson has a reputation for a reliable, high quality service provided by knowledgeable and qualified advisors- covering both Commercial and Personal Lines Insurance. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be based at our Kendal/ Windermere office and there will be the need to work 1 in 4 Saturday’s (half day only). Some key objectives & responsibilities will include:Offer and present insurance solutions including insurance policies and other risk management solutions, with purpose to secure renewal and/or new business. To assist in team performance by regular communication with colleagues and manager to establish and raise concerns and provide solutions.Identify and pursue cross-selling, up-selling and similar opportunities. Utilise all leads provided to you by the company and develop new and efficient ways to increase the quote volume.Achieve or exceed agreed volume of Quotes/Sales/Income generated from all marketing sources including own personal prospecting activity.To understand client’s business operations, opportunities and risks and their approach to risk management and insurance.To ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards and external compliance regulations, e.g. FCAAbout youAs one of our Account Handlers, you’ll have excellent communication and written skills with a keen eye for detail. You will be the type of person who wants to constantly develop, and you can expect fantastic career progression, training & development within the role and Insurance Industry in general.
