They are on the hunt for an energetic Account Executive to join their dynamic commercial team.This position represents a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to expand their skills and make their mark within the fast-paced fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, specifically within the food industry. You will have direct relationships with key retail partners, help to develop and grow the businesses together and learn about the amazing world of chilled food and the production / supply chain that delivers it.Responsibilities:Assist the National Account Controller in overseeing key retail accounts, contributing to the execution of effective sales strategies to bolster sales and profit growth.Foster and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders within the retail sector.Contribute to the analysis of market trends and competitor activity, identifying potential opportunities and crucial issues.Aid in the preparation and presentation of sales forecasts and performance updates for the accounts, communicated observations clearly and taking decisive actions.Collaborate closely with cross-functional internal teams, including marketing, development, and finance, ensuring smooth operations and proficient account management.Engage in sales and product training, along with other professional development opportunities, enhancing industry knowledge and skills.Learn and develop understanding of the products that we supply, be involved with innovation development and build expertise in the categories relating to the lead account.Personal Qualities:Experience in sales, account support, or related roles within the FMCG sector, particularly in the food industry, required.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to nurture strong relationships.A commercial awareness and understanding of the retail industry, particularly within the food sector.Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adeptly manage multiple priorities.Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for interpreting sales performance and market trend data.For more information on this exciting opportunity please get in touch, or apply with your CV today.Defining the future in recruitment excellence
