ROLE: ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE, ENTERTAINMENT PUBLICITY, UK
Way To Blue are offering an exciting opportunity to become a member of the UK Publicity team delivering campaigns across an exciting array of high end entertainment clients.
We are looking to recruit a talented, organised and proactive Account Executive to join our growing Publicity team based in our London HQ full time. This role is a unique opportunity to have an impact on Way To Blue and offers the prospect to play a pivotal role in an exciting and fast moving environment across a variety of PR accounts.
Here’s how you’ll be contributing:
Your day to day tasks will include (but not limited to):
Collating, sweeping and analysing publicity media and social coverage on a regular basis to prepare reports for client campaigns
Assisting in the management of screenings and press events, including pre and post coverage, which may require evenings and weekends
Helping the team to launch assets and collate reports promptly for clients with a keen eye for detail
Assisting senior team members in the delivery of excellent PR campaigns and advising clients of best strategic practise
Use of PowerPoint to present new ideas, new business proposals and reports
Ensuring media lists are kept up to date and accurate, updating the team on developments
Excellent knowledge of influencers, with the ability to form relationships quickly and ensure all deliverables are met in a timely manner and to client expectations
Writing different styles of copy for PR, as well as for social when needed, with guidance from Publicity and Social Media seniors
Managing media drops, invitations and guest lists for screenings and events
Attending brainstorms and contributing creative content ideas for PR campaigns as part of our working in responding to client briefs
Campaign administration including some financial awareness as well as raising and management of purchase orders
Daily liaison with both journalists and clients including attending weekly client meetings, delivering high quality work for Way To Blue’s most exciting entertainment clients
On occasion, out of office hours will be required to support events and to liaise with our offices in different territories. Time spent out of hours will be reasonably given back in lieu.

A bit about you, you’ll have…
A minimum of 6 months experience in Entertainment PR is preferable but not essential
A passion for the entertainment industry
An interest in and some knowledge of influencers / content creators
A positive and proactive approach to work and not afraid to take initiative
Ability to think on your feet, prioritise and manage own time
The ability to work effectively and with others to achieve a common goal
High attention to detail, enthusiastic, energetic and the ability to cope well under pressure
