So what do you say?DescriptionTrueLayer’s Commercial team plays a pivotal role in the financial services sector, overseeing the entire sales cycle to ensure that customers receive a top-notch experience marked by trust and diligence. Our focus is on delivering unparalleled service and exceeding expectations for those using TrueLayer’s products.Reporting to the VP Financial Services, we’re looking for a hunter account executive, a dynamic sales professional, experienced in the financial technology (FinTech) space, to join our Financial Service vertical sales team to sell to merchants such as Chip, Zopa, Lendable, Trading212, Freetrade. Whether you're developing business strategies to explore new opportunities in financial services, identifying strategic partnerships within the industry, or collaborating on inventive campaigns—your passion lies in building a robust sales pipeline and securing clients.If you're passionate about the intricacies of FinTech, thrive on crafting and executing innovative growth strategies, and are eager to contribute to our narrative as we expand across Europe, we invite you to join our journey.What we expect from you as an Account Executive:Own the sales cycle with our merchants - from the prospecting stage to closing dealsDrive new revenue growth in the FinTech sector, specialising in financial services;Build and manage your sales pipeline within the FinTech landscape;Utilise your industry knowledge and network to foster relationships with strategic clients;Represent TrueLayer at industry events, engaging with potential customers and identifying new business opportunities;Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance the sales pipeline and optimise prospect conversion;Work with Sales Development Representatives to qualify leads and schedule meetings;Partner with the Sales Integration team to enhance prospect integration experiences and conversions;Grasp the nuances of a rapidly utilised technology landscape for prospects;Understand the needs and concerns of prospective clients, staying abreast of trends in their industries;Utilise data to accurately measure and report FinTech sales KPIs;Act as the client voice in internal product discussions, influencing future features and developments;Collaborate with the Client Success team to ensure a seamless client onboarding experience;Work with the Talent team to attract, interview, and hire top talent for both the Growth team and TrueLayer as a whole;Innovate consistently to enhance the performance of the Growth Team.About you:Possess demonstrable experience in a commercial role, with a proven track record of success in a Payments company;You have high levels of energy, love networking, connecting and thrive in hands-on environments and get things doneDemonstrate a keen interest in Open Banking, PSD2, FinTech, payments, and data;Exhibit excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, adept at engaging both technical and non-technical decision-makers;Display technical curiosity, enjoying a deep understanding of clients’ products and businesses;Thrive in a fast-paced environment, capable of rolling up your sleeves to deliver work in a time-sensitive setting.We would be particularly excited if you have:If you are excited about shaping the future of FinTech and driving innovation in the financial services sector, we would love to hear from you!Don’t meet all the requirements?Multiple studies have shown that women and people of underrepresented groups are sometimes less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single requirement.
