Purdey - Account Executive
(12month Fixed Term Contract, Full-Time)
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
As an Account Executive within our Wholesale department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the wholesale team to drive sales and ensure the successful distribution of luxury products to wholesale partners and clients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Head of Clothing & Accessories in managing day-to-day operations, maintaining relationships with buying teams, and providing exceptional customer service.
The role will cover many different areas from sales support, data management and analysis and inventory management with partners.
Key responsibilities:
Sales Support:
Help drive sales and profitability for wholesale department
Monitor seasonal performance, commercial actions, and decision making to increase sales performances in each market
Closely manage performance against budgets, provide monthly progress reports
Organize and coordinate market appointments, trunk shows and promotional events
Data Management & Analysis:
Oversee team in gathering competitor information, identifying future buying trends to develop new business by expanding customer base and channels
Create monthly delivery schedules and coordinate with logistic teams on all outgoing orders. Ensure all relevant documentation is provided to logistic teams to ensure smooth movement of deliveries to partners.
Monitoring and reporting on key accounts sell in and sell out
Create and manage day-to-day wholesale operations for all accounts: Client Service procedures; incentive schemes; VM standards and merchandising.
Manage and process all orders (purchase orders, sales orders, credits, debits) as well as the orderbook
Other:
Key point of contact for accounts, holding close relationships with BAA, Assistant buyers and merchandising to monitor sales trends and work with them to move slow moving stock.
Working with internal finance teams to ensure all invoices are correct and monitoring any outstanding debtors
Work with internal Marketing team to ensure relevant assets and imagery are sent to key accounts to best represent Purdey
Manage new account and pop-up creations and contract management (incoterms etc.)
Manage, develop and onboard new team members (training etc.)
Building and maintaining relationships with accounts and the buying teams
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
A passion for luxury products and a keen eye for detail to maintain the brand's luxury image
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems is desirable
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with retail partners and team members
Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
Self-motivated with a strong drive for results and ability to work independently
Previous experience in wholesale operations, luxury retail, or customer service is advantageous
