We are looking for an experienced Account Director to join our Client Services team and take on some of our key accounts.Based either in our Glasgow office (hybrid working with three days a week in the office Tuesday – Thursday) or London (remote with regular Glasgow travel).Ideally from an agency background you will have more than four years’ experience in a similar client relationship/strategic role or with senior experience of working inhouse in a digital or marketing role.We pride ourselves on maintaining long term relationships with clients, including well-known names within alcohol, consumer brand, and financial service industries. This is a key role within Dog, managing relationships with senior client stakeholders and owning the growth of client engagement within key accounts.Reporting to the Head of Client Services, the Account Director will work closely with all internal departments; creative, strategy, planning, marketing, design, development, project management and production to lead the client and formulate, brief, implement and deliver successful digital solutions for our clients.You will be a strategic thinker, be passionate about digital technology and embrace innovation, you will be required to lead and manage the digital strategy and the commercial approach across your key accounts. You will be able to build and maintain strong relationships and deliver excellent customer service and be able to define client requirements and brief complex technical projects into the team.You will have a breadth of knowledge across all digital disciplines. Experience desirable across CMS systems, web design and build, e-commerce, SEO, PPC, Social, Email marketing and online advertising, branding and design.Ownership of all aspects of key client accountsDemonstrable ability to plan and implement commercial and strategic development of client accountsCreating new business opportunities within key accountsScoping and documentation of client requirements and able to effectively articulate ideas, solutions and strategic planningBeing a strategic partner to your clients in their digital activityStrong commercial awareness and accurate financial forecastingBuilding strong, enduring relationships with clients and developing senior client contactsSupporting new business development activity and pitchesRounded knowledge of all digital disciplinesPrevious consumer brand marketing experience in the drinks industryPrevious marketing experience in the financial services industryAbout DogOur Glasgow HQ is based right in the heart of the city, on Glasgow’s bustling Buchanan Street, with an open-plan, friendly, atmosphere.
