You’ll have the opportunity to work across accounts which are Global, creative and truly strategic and you’ll be part of a smart and committed team. As an Account Director at Avalere Health, we’ll expect you to be a driving force for your accounts. We’d want you to be always looking ahead, ‘steering the ship’ and ensuring that everyone’s playing their role in ensuring the account is heading in the right direction. You would need to be commercially savvy, both in your decision-making and in your abilities to spot new opportunities. You will be able to build trusted, strong relationships with your clients and the teams internally, so that the agency can deliver upon it’s best work and truly ‘hand it over proud’. Our Account Directors are ambassadors for Avalere Health, and their positive, problem-solving attitude creates many opportunities for brilliant work.What you'll doTake a leadership role within your brand teams by supervising the development, execution and production of all tactical programs from start to finishWork between departments, ensuring culture is maintained, and implementation is assuredOwn the relationship with the client, consistently adding value, questioning and challenging appropriately to optimise communicationHelp monitor workflow and alert Directors of any short or long term needs to ensure smooth workflowDemonstrate a clear understanding of client business strategy and marketing model, and the communications necessary to deliver against themContribute to the strategic direction of the account and ensure all day to day activities align to the brand strategyDemonstrate a strong ability to manage multiple clients and projectsIdentify organic growth opportunities and confidently present ideas to Directors and your brand teamsProvide support and backup to Directors on all accounts & new business opportunitiesTake responsibility for brand finances, including accurate budgeting, billing, forecasting and financial tracking & management, ensuring profitability for the agency, and understanding of decisions on costs and profitUnderstands the remit of Group companies and highlights cross selling opportunitiesActively manages conflict and solves problems to resolve issues quickly, escalating issues to Directors appropriatelyLead by example, displaying excellent interpersonal skills Empower and provide guidance to team to manage projectsTake part in the development, training, and motivation of the teamDemonstrate support of company goals and missionAbout youMinimum 4 years of experiencePharmaceutical industry experience, preferably within a healthcare communications agencyExcellent presentation and writing skillsPassion for healthcare and communicationsStrong understanding of legislative and regulatory processes and rulesOrganises own time to achieve deadlines, prioritises tasks within given time framesClear communicator, honest and fair with colleaguesStrong client-facing skills with the ability to listen intently and ask in-depth questions to determine client needs, foster trust and build long-term client relationships and partnershipsStrong understanding of the multi disciplinary approach to client service, and their specific role across accounts and scenariosKnows when to ask for helpCommunicates ‘bad news’ constructively, without de-motivating the teamIdentifies own training and development needsAlways acts with integrityWhat we can offerAvalere Health aims to empower every employee to develop and thrive.
