Account Director - B2B Marketing

We’re helping our client, a leading independent B2B Marketing Agency to find an Account Director.
Our Client
An innovative and dynamic B2B Marketing Agency with a strong heritage and continuing their growth. They have a creative and supportive work environment with a passionate team. Client sectors include scientific, technology and biotech. They work on brand identiy, new brand development, messaging and content, lead generation and paid media. They are based in the city centre and have a flexible and hybrid approach to work, with 2 days in the office.
The Role
This is a new role for the business, to help on-board new work from an existing major global client. There will be some element of delivery but it will mainly be around understanding the client's challenges, make strategic connections and pull together a team to respond. You'll pull together and arrange creds presentations, sort out SoW's and mini-pitches.
You
You will be an experienced agency Account Director, with ideally experience of working in B2B sectors with complex multi-national businesses with multiple contacts. You’ll be strong at judging incoming inquiries and allocating the appropriate time and resource to respond. A strong communicator and networker, you’ll be skilled at understanding client challenges, making initial strategic connections and insights, and then adept at leading clients through the campaign delivery process. Experience of strategically advising clients across brand, content and digital marketing in particular, as well as a strong level of financial and budget management acumen.
