Job DescriptionJob Title: Accident Repair Workshop ManagerSalary: £48,868.41Working Hours: Full time (40 hours), permanent. Location: London (SE2)Our client provides a number of high-quality services to London and the surrounding area. We deliver full accident repair services for all makes and models of both private & commercial vehicles, including cars, SUV, vans, light commercial vehicles, HGVs, PSVs & minibuses. With a commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a dynamic Workshop Manager to lead our team to new heights.Role Overview: As the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient management of our Accident Repair workshop. Reporting to the Head of Service, you will oversee all aspects of workshop operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and driving business growth.Key Responsibilities:Manage and provide direction to workshop employees, optimising resource utilisation for optimal service delivery.Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth through new customer acquisition and market penetration.Analyse market dynamics and competition to develop effective marketing strategies.Foster relationships with stakeholders including customers, suppliers, and partner organisations.Monitor competitor activity and recommend strategies to maintain a competitive edge.Recruit, motivate, and develop staff, ensuring effective communication and performance management.Conduct quality checks to ensure adherence to legal requirements and quality standards.Highlight operational and financial performance issues and implement cost-saving measures.Keep abreast of industry developments and apply new knowledge to operations.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, equal opportunities policies, and quality assurance initiatives.Qualifications and Experience:Minimum 3 years of managerial experience in the automotive repair industry, preferably in accident repair workshops.Proven track record of successfully managing teams and workshop operations.Comprehensive understanding of accident repair automotive repair techniques and industry-standard tools.Leadership abilities with strong communication and problem-solving skills.Vehicle Damage Estimator Qualification is essential.What We Offer
