AAT Accountant

We are proud to be supporting a respected education provider in their search for an AAT Qualified Accountant or part CIMA/ACCA accountant to support the Head of Finance.
This role would suit an AAT Level 4 qualified accountant or part qualified accountant with a foundation of month end experience looking to join a well-established organisation with excellent benefits. Experience in fixed assets, prepayments & accruals and a good level of excel skills are essential criteria.
Your main duties will be:

• Undertake general finance responsibilities; data inputting, producing analysis and ad hoc reports using Microsoft Excel and other tasks as required by the Head of Finance
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register including additions, disposals and undertake inventory/asset checks.
• Assist with the annual budgeting and reforecasting processes, preparing analyses and reports as required.
• Help produce the month end accounts by assisting with the month end routines including calculation of prepayments and accruals and accurate recharging of costs.
• Maintain the accuracy of the Finance system ensuring it is correctly updated for new starters and leavers and appropriate system training has been delivered.

The Offering:

• Salary: �30,500 - �33,500
• 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Christmas close
• Enhanced Pension Contribution - up to 16.4%
• Hybrid working (3 days at their site in LS2)
