7.5 Tonne Driver

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our clients team. As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers and manufacturing work inside the unit during quiet periods. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

Duties:

- Operate a 7.5-tonne flatbed truck to transport goods to designated locations

- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment

- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with delivery schedules

- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving

- Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip, reporting any maintenance or repair needs

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery details

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns

Requirements:

- Valid driving license (7.5-tonne license)

- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role

- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record

- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and routes

- Ability to navigate using GPS or maps

- Physical fitness to load and unload as and when required

- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
