Ignition Driver Recruitment is looking for 7.5-tonne drivers in Glasgow to work for a leading British in-store and online retailer. This particular role will include furniture delivery. 
You must have the ability to drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle, with either grandfather rights or a licence upgrade. You must also be able to demonstrate 12 months of recent experience driving said vehicle type. 

Working as a 7.5 Tonne Driver: 

• Driving a 7.5 Tonne vehicle
• Multi-Drop Delivery - working in a 2-person crew
• Manual handling (Carrying goods into customer homes)
  • This is furniture delivery so will include a range of items from sofas, beds, dining sets etc
  • Heavy lifting may be required
• Occasional requirement for building flat pack furniture
• Vehicle Maintenance Checks
• Route and delivery paperwork completion

Shift times & working hours for a 7.5 Tonne Driver:

• Various shifts available
• 48 hours a week 
  • 4x 12 hour shifts
  • 4 out of 6 days working 
• 3-week rota working Monday to Saturday
• 05:00/06:00 starts

What do we need from you to be a 7.5 Tonne Driver?

• Full UK driving licence with 12 months experience 
  • Must have 7.5 tonne capability (Grandfather rights pre '97 or licence upgrade)
• We will accept up to 6 points on your licence, but no DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements
• Digi Tachograph & DCPC Card
