We have an incredible opportunity to join us here at Phoenix Group as a Commercial and Propositions Actuary to join our Commercial and Propositions team.

The role
As a Commercial and Propositions Actuary, you will support and lead for the team as required on projects that seek to launch new product propositions by providing technical actuarial expertise on matters such as capital and financial risk management.
Aid in the delivery of management actions that support AOP targets and develop ideas that generate additional value or reduced cost within the Savings & Retirement Value Centre
Assist the development and maintenance of financial frameworks that enable our Value Centres to operate in a safe yet optimised fashion.
Support the timely flow of relevant information between the Savings & Retirement Value Centre and the wider Actuarial and Capital Management team such that the current ‘state of play’ is understood.
Carry out timely triage / impact assessments on new initiatives arising from the Value Centres to identify the actuarial support and guidance path needed to deliver safely.
Support the Senior Commercial & Proposition Actuaries and Commercial & Propositions Business Partner on wider activities within the team.
What are we looking for?
A qualified or near-qualified life actuary.
Experience or interest in Solvency II capital modelling.
Capability to support complex financial modelling projects to delivery.
Desire to work collaboratively, can-do attitude, and ability to thrive in a dynamic and developing environment.
