5x Mechanical Engineers

ALink Recruitment are looking for 5x Mechanical Engineers on a contract basis. The position will involve doing detailed design of rail projects. Candidates must have a mechanical background and experience undertaking detailed designs of rail projects. Essential Criteria:
Right to work in the UK Degree in Engineering (Bsc, MSc or MEng) or equivalent At least 5+ years, post-graduate experience in mechanical engineering Experience in the Rail Industry and a sound understanding of the Rail Environment, rules and regulations Experience of mechanical building services design in the rail environment, including: heating, cooling, hot and cold water, and ventilation systems Working knowledge of the design of above ground plumbing and waste systems, rainwater disposal systems, drainage systems, controls/BMS for mechanical systems Experience and good knowledge of using mechanical engineering standards and specifications (Rail or Building related) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to work under pressure within time constraints Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base Proven capability to build relationships, be proactive and be part of a variety of teams, including multidisciplinary teams Computer literate and good experience of computer software programs such as, MS Office (Word, Excel, Project) A challenging attitude towards solving engineering problems to achieve cost effective designs and develop innovative solutions Experience and good knowledge of TfL Pathway or Network Rail GRIP, PACE and engineering standards and specifications
