As a 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of our operations. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like: Programming and Preparing 3D Models - You’ll take customer 3D models and prepare them for printing. Your expertise in programming will ensure flawless execution. Technical Feasibility Reviews - When customers submit files, you’ll review them for technical feasibility. Your recommendations will ensure that parts are optimised for 3D printing processes. Engineering Problem Solving - 3D printing presents unique challenges. You’ll tackle these head-on, finding innovative solutions to ensure successful outcomes. Process Optimisation - Efficiency matters. You’ll work to optimise our 3D printing processes, reducing manufacturing times while maintaining top-notch quality. Assisting with Quotations - When it comes to pricing and proposals, your technical input will be invaluable. You’ll review quotations and provide insights. R&D Collaboration - Join our internal and external R&D projects. Your contributions will help shape the future of additive manufacturing. Testing and Inspection - Mechanical, chemical, and physical inspections, these are all part of your domain. You’ll ensure our parts meet the highest standards. Calibration and Maintenance - Keeping our equipment in top shape is crucial. You’ll handle internal calibration and coordinate maintenance with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). What you'll need to succeed A background in engineering, preferably with experience in 3D printing and additive manufacturing. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to optimise processes. Technical proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with various 3D printing technologies. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
