Job Overview:



Parkside Recruitment�are seeking a talented 3D Designer with a robust background in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Mechanical Engineering to contribute to cutting-edge projects.



Responsibilities:



As a 3D Designer you will be responsible for:




  • Developing detailed 3D models and designs using advanced CAD software.

  • Translating conceptual ideas into accurate and manufacturable 3D designs.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet technical specifications and project requirements.

  • Applying mechanical engineering principles to design and optimise mechanical components and systems.

  • Conducting feasibility studies and performance analysis for mechanical designs.

  • Collaborating with engineers to integrate mechanical designs into larger systems.

  • Demonstrating a strong command of CAD tools, especially in 3D modeling.

  • Utilising CAD software (such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) to create detailed and accurate technical drawings.

  • Staying updated on industry trends and advancements in CAD technology.

  • Managing and prioritizing multiple design projects concurrently.

  • Collaborating with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of design projects.

  • Providing regular project updates and reports.

  • Conducting thorough reviews of designs to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.

  • Implementing quality control measures to identify and rectify design errors or issues.



Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a 3D Designer with a focus on mechanical engineering projects.

  • Strong proficiency in CAD software, with a demonstrable portfolio of 3D modeling projects.

  • Knowledge of mechanical design principles and the ability to apply them effectively.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for precision and accuracy.



Preferred Qualifications:




  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • Previous experience in industries such as manufacturing, product design, or automotive engineering.

  • Familiarity with simulation and analysis tools for mechanical designs.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.



Additional Advantage:�It would be beneficial if candidates possess production or live event experience or demonstrate an interest in these areas.
