Location: Gravesend

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate 360 excavators and other heavy machinery on coastal and sea defense projects.
• Execute precise excavation tasks, including dredging, trenching, and grading.
• Adhere to project plans and specifications while maintaining high safety standards.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with site managers and team members to achieve project objectives.
• Implement and follow sea defense survival protocols during operations in marine environments.
• Respond promptly and effectively to any emergency situations on site.

Required:

• Valid 360 excavator operator certification.
• Proven experience operating 360 excavators in a construction or marine setting.
• Sea defense survival training certification.
• Strong understanding of coastal construction techniques and safety protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in challenging and diverse environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred:

• Additional certifications in heavy machinery operation.
• First aid and CPR certification.
• Previous experience in marine construction projects.
