2nd Line support engineer - £35,000 - Oxford
I am working with a client who is on the lookout for a 2nd line support hardware engineer in the heart of oxford. You will you will be the eyes and the ears of the business and be fully aware of the problems your customers will face.
This team are an established organisation in oxford that are working with some great clients locally, you will be working in a team of 5/6 but they role will require a lot of independent learning after the training.
They are looking for an all-rounder with experience in Windows Server networks, Exchange Server, on-premises and O365/Azure, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy. HyperV and SQL knowledge would be a plus. General Experience with Windows 10/11 Desktop environments and Microsoft Office. Some iOS/Android/Mac/ Linux knowledge would be good .
Skillset required :
Server administration
Solving user problems /answering queries / basic user instruction
New user& application setups
Day-to-day user / systems support (printer installs, etc.)
Web based ‘Manufacturer Knowledge Base’ investigations
Providing applications & patches
Workstation troubleshooting
Training & answering queries (re: MS Office based apps.)
In-house server /network troubleshooting
Escalation of client requests (systems development & sales) to consultants/account managers.
On-site support / delivery of goods & services to clients, site auditing & fact-finding visits.
