Job DescriptionPosition: 2nd Line Support Engineer Location: Central London Schedule: Full-time, on-site role (5 days per week)Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum + benefitsAbout Our Client:Our key client, a highly reputable financial services business, provides a comprehensive range of services tailored to the UK market. They are on the search for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to provide support to internal users across their London offices.You will be based on-site at the main branch in Central London (close to Bank station). Key Skills and Experience Required:Proficient in both 1st and 2nd Line SupportExperience in providing direct IT support to senior stakeholders Strong knowledge of IT hardware systems, including laptops, mobiles, phones, AV equipment, meeting rooms, telephony systems, and other equipment Familiar with the Microsoft stack, including AD, M365, Azure, and Windows OSProven ability to maintain applications on serversExperience with cloud-based serversProficiency in networking, encompassing WAN, LAN, and Wi-Fi, is desirableFamiliar with infrastructure migrationsExcellent communication skills, with a professional and client-facing demeanourSelf-driven with the capability to work independently Key Duties and Responsibilities:Provide exceptional internal user support – 1st and 2nd line Manage and resolve technical requests, predominantly operating at the 2nd line levelLiaise between internal users, senior internal personnel at the company, and external vendors.Act as a direct contact to senior management teamsAddress user issues related to End User Computing (EUC)Collaborate closely with stakeholders to facilitate the smooth implementation of IT solutionsOversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of IT hardware systemsManage and resolve escalated issues from the IT help deskManage cloud-based server environmentsThis role offers an exhilarating chance to engage in diverse projects across the IT Infrastructure domain and embrace cutting-edge technologies.
