MCS Group is delighted to be representing a leading global manufacturer, who are keen to recruit an experienced Benefits Specialist on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a newly created post, which will be based on their County Antrim site. The successful Benefits Specialist will report to the Senior Benefits Consultant and be responsible for maintaining a range of benefit programmes.The Benefits Specialist will have a key role in bench marking, researching, renewal and communication of benefit programmes within the company's Total Reward Structure. Some of the key role responsibilities include:Collaborates with internal personnel on employee benefit-related knowledge and skill sets to determine current benefit trends and compare with legislated requirements and programsOrganises the design and implementation of programs such as accident and health insurance coverage, retirement and pension plans, income continuance holidays, and vacation timeKey Participant in local and global surveys on current benefit trends, pricing and policiesCollaborates on communicating the benefits program and policies effective to the company. Ensures proper communication regarding any change or updatesKey Participant in modeling cost analyses of various program or policy updatesMaintaining an effective benefits programme for employees across the EU regionSubmitting data and analysing results from benefits related market surveysCommunicating effectively with individual employees regarding their benefitsSupport the communication of the benefits plans region-wideExperience / QualificationsA university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.Previous experience working with benefits, or within a generalist HR role and possessing an interest in employee benefitsMust be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demandsStrong communication skills; oral, written and presentationStrong organisation, planning and time management skills to achieve resultsStrong personal and professional ethical values and integrityHolds self-accountable to achieving goals and standardsProficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customersPackageThe client is offering a highly attractive package, includingAttractive salary & benefits offeringNew, permanent opportunityCompetitive holiday allowance2:30pm finish on a FridayVery niche senior benefits roleHybrid working patternTo speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity please send an up to date CV via the link provided or contact Olivia McClenaghan, HR Recruitment Specialist at MCS Group 02896935513Even if this position is not right for you, we may have others that are.
