Simply drop off your CV by clicking on the button to your right, and we'll get in contact if we have a suitable vacancy.Kingston upon Thames, Surrey – 3 days per week in the office, 2 days per week working from homeOil & Gas/ Offshore Wind sector2 Senior Pipeline Engineers are required to work on an initial 12 month contract basis based in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey that will offer a hybrid working set up of 3 days per week in the office and 2 days per week working from home.Mission:As the Pipeline Engineer, you will perform and/or supervise the correct execution of sealine design and installation analysisAs the Pipeline Engineer, you will learn/improve the knowledge and the use of the available software for pipeline design and installation analysisLearn/improve the capabilities in design and analysisTasks:As the Pipeline Engineer, you will perform all discipline analyses, technical report, specifications and drawings required to design the pipelines system and relevant componentsAssist with the selection of laying spread/methods, perform installation design analysis for the pipeline system, define operational installation limitsAs the Pipeline Engineer, you will verify subcontracted engineeringPrepare technical specifications and requisition for material and services purchasingAs the Pipeline Engineer, you will ensure an adequate standard of technical documentation and contribute in updating Company standardsAs the Pipeline Engineer, you will review Client's technical documentation and requirementsPrepare technical qualifications and contribute for the definition of the technical proposal while bidding for EPCI and T and I contractsAs the Pipeline Engineer, you will contribute to update and improve the department tools for Sealine EngineeringContribute to maintain the excellence in Sealine EngineeringAs the Pipeline Engineer, you will Contribute to the definition, implementation and improvement of the department quality systemAs the Pipeline Engineer, you will contribute to the standardization and definition of procedures for the department working processTo be considered for the position, candidates must be able to demonstrate:A degree qualification on Civil, Structural or mechanical engineeringAs the Pipeline Engineer, you will have proven experience in the design of subsea oil and gas pipelines and pipeline systemsDesign experience shall generally include WT, Stability, Bottom Roughness, Global Buckling, Tie-in design etcAs the Pipeline Engineer, you will have an understanding of material and coating requirements would be a distinct advantage.As the Pipeline Engineer, you will have the willingness to undertake a lead role in the FEED or Detailed Design stages of various upcoming projectsA sound and general capability for using engineering software / programming skillsWho we areFirst Recruitment Group are committed to finding the right candidates for our clients, and the right companies for our candidates to work for.
