1st Line Support Technician / IT Apprentice

Salary:
£7.71 per hour
Role Type:
18-month Fixed Term Contract, 37 hours per week (including one college day per week)

As a 1st Line Support Technician, you will gain practical hands-on experience within a skilled and friendly IT team here in Barnsley. You will be at ease liaising with members of staff and guiding them through first tier IT troubles, both with hardware and software. Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Information Communication Technician qualification. What Youll Be Doing:
Managing end user devices (laptops, mobile phones, Toughbooks)
Configuring devices alongside standard operating procedures
Monitoring IT stock records and maintaining an organised stock area
Acting as a first line support for emails, tickets and phone calls to the Service Desk
Managing administrative duties for your own work and for the IT Team
