Job Description
IT Support Engineer – Brokerage – London. Miller Maxwell is working with an established Brokerage organisation seeking to hire an IT Support Engineer with experience of Microsoft operating systems both desktop and server, and database skills for their expanding team in London. The brokerage company was established in 2000 and is at the forefront of its sector across European financial markets. The IT Support Engineer will join an expanding technical support and development team in London.
The IT Support Engineer will:
network and software issues
high level software security systems
hardware, software and networking issues
daily checks on all necessary systems and IT equipment
to queries via phone, email, in person or remotely.
The IT Support Engineer will need:
degree in a STEM-related subject
within Microsoft (desktop/server) environments
Server experience plus the ability to run SQL queries
new software and hardware
in diagnosing and resolving issues with Windows 10 /11 and Microsoft Office365
users and groups within Active Directory
Troubleshooting basic VPN, and networking issues.
monitoring and supporting desktop applications.
