1st/2nd Line IT Support Engineer

1st/2nd Line Engineer - MSP - £25,000

A well-established MSP of 15 years are now actively looking for 1^st/2^nd Line IT Support Engineers with good working knowledge of Office 365, Active Directory and ideally previous MSP experience.

Here you'll be joining a close-knit service desk of 6 who are responsible for supporting their client base of roughly 65 SMEs. It's a flat structure, meaning that you'll get plenty of exposure to business-critical escalated tasks.

Key Skills required:

• MSP Experience
• Windows Server /Windows OS 10/11
• Office 365 administration and support
• AzureAD/Intune
• Network troubleshooting and support
• Full UK Drivers licence - essential

They're based in a modern office in St Albans and have a flexible approach to working, with the freedom to choose your hours (e.g. 8am-5pm, 9am-6pm).

Roles and responsibilities include:

• Provide high-quality remote and on-site technical support for various issues and problems.
• Address and efficiently resolve client issues, queries, and incidents.
• Respond to and manage incidents, escalating problems across multiple platforms as needed.
• Support, train, and mentor team members.
• Adopt a hands-on approach to problem-solving, ensuring issues are resolved within SLAs
• Take ownership of assigned incidents and manage them to resolution.
• Ensure SLA compliance, including response times, resolution times, and first-time fix rates.
• Troubleshoot application issues.
