1:1 Teaching Assistant (Part Time)
Hartlpeool

September 2024 - December 2024 

The School and Role 

This primary school, based in the Hartlepool area, are looking to appoint a passionate teaching assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a Y2 child with behavioral and support needs on a part time basis on a morning only. 

This is a friendly and welcoming school with a supportive team of staff.
Working in this primary school as part of an established team, the desired teaching assistant will be working on a 1:1 basis with a Y2 pupil with additional behavioural and support needs. This teaching assistant role is short term, but could become potentially permanent.

The position is based in the classroom environment, so could be a potential to work on a group basis as well as individually with Y2 student.

Experience with SEND children would be desirable to this role, also a qualification of Level 3 or above in Supporting Children in Learning, working 8:30am until 12:30pm Monday to Friday.

Looking for a committed and patient individual who is willing to support on a 1:1 basis, within a classroom environment but also seperate unit when needed.

This position is beginning in September until December 2024.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

-          Experience of working with primary school aged children in KS1

-          Experience of working with pupils with SEND

-          A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

-          An ability to work as part of a team
