1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Lichfield

Duration: Full time, on going

Salary: £95 - £105 per day

The School/role:

We are looking for a full time TA to start with us after Easter for a 1:1 child in Y1 on a long-term supply basis. This supportive school is a happy, thriving school that is proud to be part of our local community.

Key Duties:

* Constant Supervision: Provide vigilant supervision to ensure the safety of the child and others, particularly in managing disruptive behaviour.

* Building Trusting Relationships: Foster a trusting relationship with the student to create a supportive learning environment.

* Sensory Room Assistance: Facilitate the student's engagement in the sensory room to enhance their learning experience.

* Outdoor Activities: Organize and facilitate opportunities for the student to run around outside each day, promoting physical activity and well-being.

Requirements:

* Qualified Teaching Assistant OR Relevant SEN Background

* PECS and Makaton training/experience

* PMLD, SLD, MLD, ASD and Complex needs experience

* Level 1 safeguarding certificate

* Recent school based references

* Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport

* Full DBS – on the update service
