New Way Tuition Limited is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Outreach Tutors. As an Outreach Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing education and mentoring to students who do not attend mainstream education due to reasons such as SEN, SEMH, or risk of permanent exclusion. This is a deeply rewarding role with abundant job satisfaction, involving one-to-one and group sessions in subjects including basic Maths, English, PSHE, interventions, and mentoring, conducted at pupils' homes, local libraries, and schools. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of Literacy and Maths, alongside experience working with children, including those with SEND. Our students range from EYFS to Year 11, and we operate up to GCSE/Functional Skills levels. A current Enhanced DBS is essential.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, with experience working with children and young adults with a variety of SEN. The primary responsibilities of the role include:
- Meeting with students 1:1 to deliver tailored Maths and English lessons, taking into account their individual learning needs and abilities.

- Providing mentoring and support to help students build confidence, overcome challenges, and break down barriers to learning.

- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement personalised learning plans for each student.

- Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching strategies as needed to ensure academic and social-emotional growth.

- Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and any additional support provided.
Requirements:

- QTS (QTLS), PGCE or Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or related field. (Preferred but not essential)

- Previous experience working with children and young adults with SEN, including knowledge of various learning disabilities, developmental delays, and behavioural challenges. (Needed)

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.

- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational and emotional needs of children with SEN.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the diverse needs of our students.
Benefits:

- Competitive salary commensurate with experience.

- Opportunities for professional development and training.

- Supportive and collaborative work environment.

- Making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families.

Flexible hours, with self-employed status or a contract through an umbrella company.
