A global Defence client with HQ’s around the U.K are looking to bring onboard either a
Security cleared or willing to be security cleared
Senior System Engineer (VMware)to join the team based in their South East London HQ 2-3 days a week.
As the VMWare Systems Engineer, you will be working with the wider IT Infrastructure team to shape the VMware infrastructure used to manage a number of critical systems such as ATC and Maritime systems, so for the right candidate, there is an exciting opportunity to work on high value and critical projects.
What you’ll be doing:
Analyse and investigate any new technical hardware/software that could improve the infrastructure and provide the recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Investigate any operational issues and prepare a solution either individually or as part of the team.
Prepare specifications, develop designs in line with specifications and all quality and technical standards, and carry out design appraisals.
Participate in capturing requirements, designing, implementing and testing software for the infrastructure system.
Key skills
Strong IT System Engineering background - (VMware Horizon ideally but MUST have a strong VMWare background)

Degree educated in a STEM Subject
