(Senior) BI Developer

Our daily business is solving large-scale, complex problems – and we love it!As a BI developer in the Data Enablement team at FREENOW you will become a part of our core team of Data experts. You will develop and improve FREENOW’s data stack, tooling and reporting platform and will be supporting all Data roles in the company to bring them to the next level.YOUR DAILY ADVENTURES WILL INCLUDE:Automation and tooling focusYou will own and develop automations to speed up the data delivery throughout the company: chatbots, automation jobs, slack integration, web services, …You identify Data requirements of the business and translate it into functional requirements for Data engineers and help improving the Data platform’s performanceYou develop tooling using the following technologies: Python, Flask, various APIs, GitReporting focusYou own our main Data visualisation tools (such as Tableau) and are responsible for an optimal environment and the continuous automation and modernisation of the platformYou maintain our Tableau Server to ensure accessibility, reliability and GDPR complianceYou document, maintain and structure our usage of Tableau and Metabase reporting platformsSupport and Data Literacy FocusYou are the first contact for analysts for structural support (Reporting infrastructure, Data visualisation tools, etc.)You communicate with various stakeholders within the Data teams and the broader organisation in order to translate business needs into Data solutionsYou educate end users to expand their capabilities and make data-driven decisions using the tools we provideTO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:Degree in Business studies, Computer science or another subject with a significant mathematical, statistical or scientific focus (or significant professional experience in these areas)Professional experience in Tech, Analytics, Data or a related fieldExcellent knowledge of Python, Flask, various APIs, GitvExcellent knowledge and expertise in Tableau or Similar reporting and BI toolsGood knowledge of SQL and query optimisation is a plusAnalytical mindset and good critical thinking and problem solving abilitiesStakeholder and project management skillsGood communication skills, team orientated and autonomousBENEFITS & PERKS IN A NUTSHELL:Fully remote* or hybrid working modelsSabbatical & time offSubsidised gym membershipBirthday-offMobility budget for FREENOW AppEmployee assistance programPlus more local benefits depending on your work location!DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION:FREENOW is an equal opportunity employer and we consider qualified applicants regardless of race, religion, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or age.We want you to grow and evolve, bring your true self to work . SEE WHAT OUR AWESOME COLLEAGUES SAY ABOUT US:How the process will look likeYour teammates will gather all requirements within our organization.
