Position Overview:
As a Backend Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems that power the innovative insurance solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products that meet the evolving needs of their customers and business.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using C# and .NET technologies.
Collaborate with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to implement new features and enhancements.
Optimize application performance and ensure high availability, reliability, and security of backend services.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure code quality and maintainability.
Contribute to the design and architecture of backend systems, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in backend development, and recommend innovative solutions to improve their products and processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role, with a strong proficiency in C# and .NET framework.
Solid understanding of backend development concepts, including RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server).
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
This role offers a hybrid work arrangement (2 days in the Essex office) and a competitive salary of up to £80k, which is flexible for the right candidate. The comprehensive package includes a pension plan, health insurance and more.
