.Net Application Development and Support Manager

ETEL is a large and complex business encompassing (i) Retail – Kwik Fit, Tyre Pro’s, Central Tyre, Kwik Fit Mobile and Kwik Fit Fleet brands, (ii) Stapleton’s wholesale & distribution, and (iii) ETEL Head Office functions e.g. Finance, People, Technology.
Reporting to the Head of Technology Solutions (Retail), the .Net Development Manager will oversee the planning, development, and implementation .Net aspect of technology solutions within the organisation. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership capabilities to ensure the successful delivery of technology projects.
The .Net Development Manager will work as a key member of the Retail Technology Solutions team and with other teams in the department (e.g. Architecture & Data Analytics, Transformation & Project Delivery, Operations) to ensure the future direction of technology supports and enables both the Retail business strategies and the overall ETEL Technology Strategy.
The role will support the Head of Technology Solutions (Retail) with the implementation of the Technology strategy.
This permanent role is based upon 40hrs per week between Monday and Friday, on a hybrid basis to include time spent onsite at our central offices in Broxburn, plus other ETEL UK locations when required.
An experienced and technically excellent technology manager, with proven experience in leading and managing software a development teams.
A manager who can clearly communicate and engage business and IT professionals alike.
5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on .NET technologies.
Strong technical expertise in .NET framework, C#, ASP.NET, and MVC.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices
Proven track record for being:

Driven and results orientated
Effective at driving short-term actions that are consistent with long-term goals
Experience of technical project management
Experience of application support processes and 3rd party application support management.
Minimum of Degree level - Extensive industry experience, in lieu of degree, will be considered
Full UK drivers licence desirable.
