As Head of Advocacy & Communications LDB UK&I, you will be responsible for the Advocacy, Social and Communications strategy for some of the fastest growing skincare brands in the UK&I. You will work across La Roche-Posay, CeraVe, Vichy & SkinCeuticals as well as closely with corporate and internal communications, digital marketing, media and content.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
FUNCTION LEADERSHIP:
-Manage, coach & grow a strong team 6+ across Paid Social (focusing on content and talent that wins) & Advocacy and Communications Managers driving organic press coverage, building brand equity and love via relationships, seeding & events. Both teams are responsible for ensuring we have the right profiles & ways of working in place to maximize our brands’ vision.
-Act as a key expert & consultant on the divisional digital teams' ‘Managing Committee’, working closely with Heads of Media & the Head of Services, Platforms and Community to ensure digital and communication KPIs are met.
-Be a key close partner for our UKI CDMO team
-Building close partnerships with relevant external stakeholders – such as medical professionals, PR agencies, platform leads, talent agencies
-Sharing best practices & knowledge across the L'Oréal Dermatological Beauty Division
BRAND ADVOCACY & COMMUNICATION STRATEGY:
-Development of the Communications & Advocacy strategy across the x4 brands in the UK & Ireland
-Work closely with the Head of Medical Communications & Relations to ensure synergies across B2C & B2B strategy
-Identify key KOL & VIPs needed to deliver the Communications & Medical Advocacy strategy
-Forge and foster relationships with key stakeholders for the division, including partners, press, influencers and KOLs
-Agree investment strategy for brands in collaboration with the brand teams
-Platforms: overseeing Paid Social Brand Managers’ creation of all paid content across Social channels, ensuring it’s hyper-relevant & forward thinking. Ensuring we’re on the right platforms & looking into future opportunities, overseeing the team’s real-time analysis of what’s working & not
-Set a clear vision for your team on our full influencer strategy including VIPs through to nanos, in partnership with our brands, developing close relationships with relevant stakeholders & exploring new, relevant opportunities
-Partnerships: working closely with our PR, brand & charity partners, overseeing the Comms plan to ensure best-in-class partnerships with our key stakeholders, and creating cut-through events & brand moments to engage our communities.
-Oversee KPIs and dashboard reporting tools to measure success
-Ensure synergies and maximise advocacy initiatives across retailers & trade marketing
CORPORATE & INTERNAL COMMUNICATION:
-Strategise local communication & build a coordinated vision
-Drive corporate communications on all media, including leading on brand philanthropy & CSR topics
-Providing internal counsel & communications support to senior stakeholders
CRISIS COMMUNICATIONS:
-Anticipate, identify and strategise sensitive topics for the division and the brands
-Lead in crisis situations, ensuring teams are supported and processes implemented efficiently
