You will be responsible for the safe removal and loading of the injection mould tooling from the machines, as well as some operating.

The Role: Injection Moulding Assistant

To support the technical team by assisting with the efficient tool change of the plant / equipment .

Check product for quality as per 1st off sample

Ensure mouldings are packed correctly and to the correct quantity per box/bag

Check machine is producing to agreed targets

Report product produced at end of shift

Housekeeping around machines (with respect to 6's culture)

Second operation work as required

Support Quality Technicians where possible

The Safe removal and loading of mould tools

My Client, an excellent Company to work for, is now looking to recruit an Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation Engineer - Days, to execute the maintenance plan and equipment related tasks and to ensure plant reliability and the continual improvement of safety conditions, equipment health and plant operable status.

The Role: Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation Engineer - Days

  • Adhering and contributing to maintaining maintenance management policies and framework.
  • Participate in operation of CMMS by updating task status,
  • Building of systems, mechanical or electrical as required and within reasonable limits of capability
  • Participate in engineering projects' feasibility study, technical specification, planning, installation, execution, commissioning
  • Switching of power, LV or HV, working on high voltage motors and systems
  • Participate in training and regular meetings as required to deliver duties
  • Identify and propose solutions for recurring maintenance failures

Skills / Experience / Qualifications: Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation Engineer - Days

  • Apprentice served Electrical Engineer
  • Mechanical skills
  • Strong understanding and experience of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and process systems
  • Strong understanding and experience of automation (PLC Siemens)
  • Proven experience of fault finding, diagnostic and problem solving skills
  • Good understanding of maintenance approaches including preventive, proactive, condition monitoring and reliability tools.
  • 17th edition wiring regulations
  • HV maintenance and SAP experience is desirable.
  • Capacity and willingness to respond to after hours breakdowns (physically and remotely if required)
  • Reasonable understanding and experience of health and safety legislative requirements such as LOLER, PUWER, Working at Height, Confined Spaces, COSHH, and PSSR
  • Good IT skills and experience of using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) applications

There will be a requirement to do overtime as necessary, and work on a call out rota
