Prospero Teaching is seeking an outstanding, passionate, experienced and qualified Year 5 Teacher to join our client 2 form entry Primary School in Portsmouth. This is a full-time role commencing in September 2025.
About the Role
Position: Year 5 Teacher (Permanent)
Start Date: 3rd September 2025
Working Hours: 08:00am - 16:00pm, Monday to Friday
Location: Cosham - Portsmouth
Rate of Pay: From £162.31 per day (aligned with the teacher pay scale)

Essential & Desirable Qualifications
Essential:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Desirable:
Prior experience in a similar Key Stage 2 role
Commitment to continuing professional development
A relevant degree or higher qualification
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
Have the right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application
Provide references upon request
Possess up-to-date Safeguarding Training (or be willing to undertake this)
