Yard Person / Shunter with FLT Licence
Location: Gatenby, Northallerton (DL7 9 Postcode Area)
Manpower is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Yard Person / Shunter with a valid Forklift Truck (FLT) Licence to join our client's team in Gatenby, Northallerton. This long-term, ongoing contract has the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:

• 60% Loading and Unloading: Efficiently handle pallets on and off trucks.
• Manual Work & Warehouse Duties: Perform various tasks required to maintain smooth operations.
• Shunting: Manage and organise the yard.
• Stock Movement: Use a counterbalance forklift to move stock safely and effectively.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 6am/ 7am start on average 8 to 10 hours shifts
• Overtime: Available during the week and on weekends, higher pay after 45 hours

Pay Rate:

• £12.95 per hour

Requirements:

• Proven experience driving trucks and operating a counterbalance forklift.
• Ability to pass an on-site interview and complete an FLT driving assessment.
