Job Description Clarke & Carter are looking for a Yacht Broker to join our team at our office based at Suffolk Yacht Harbour, Levington, IP10 0LN.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for sailing or boating and have some experience on the water. Previous yacht broking experience is not necessary - you can be taught how to be a yacht broker, you can't be taught how to love boats and our business is built on a passion for what we do.
We sell over 180 boats a year and you will be expected to get involved with every aspect of boat sales from finding new listings, photographing boats and preparing the sales particulars, handling enquiries and conducting viewings through to ensuring all the paperwork for a sale is completed correctly. You will have excellent written communication skills, be comfortable picking up the phone to customers and a very high attention to detail.
We are a small, agile team so people with entrepreneurial ideas will be able to flourish and put their ideas forward to help develop the business. We pride ourselves on high quality presentation of our brokerage listings using drone photography and professionally edited videos. The ideal candidate for this role will have a demonstrated ability in this area and look to take some ownership of our social media channels and content production.
