Workshop Labourer

Workshop Labouring opportunity, working indoors at our Clients Manufacturing site in East Kilbride. Due to increased workloads, Major Recruitment are sourcing 2 candidates who meet the criteria below for an ongoing temp contract.

Hours of Work: Dayshift (4 day week)

Mon to Thurs: 0630 to 1700

(due to location and start time candidates must live locally or have their own transport)

Pay Rate: £12.31 per hour

Reporting to the Supervisor, you will be assisting in the Manufacturing and despatch areas so quite a varied role.

Duties Include:

• Moving & cutting ans securing materials
• Possible assembly work
• Adhere to H&S regulations
• Able to work OT
• Working to both individual and department deadlines

Previous Experience Includes:

• General Labouring
• Using handtools
• Heavy lifting
• Warehouse, production and/or despatch
• Attention to detail

Essential Skills Required

• Attention to detail
• Health and Safety awareness
• High level of organisational skills
• Calm and clear mind under pressure
