Job Description Are you an experienced Support Worker looking to make a meaningful difference, whilst maintaining a work/ life balance? If so we could have the role for you!\n\nWe are recruiting a male Support Worker to join our weekend team in the Muscliff area working 25 hours per week. You would need to hold a Full UK driving license to be considered for this role, however access to your own vehicle is not essential.
Please note Autism Unlimited do not provide sponsorship.\n\n\n\nThe role\n\nWe are lucky enough to be supporting Lee, a male in his early twenties living in Muscliffe. Lee communicates through various aids such as PECS cards, body language, hand signs and gestures.\n\nActivities you could be a part of include:\n\n * Days out to the local farm or Oceanarium\n\n * Peaceful nature walks through the New Forest.\n\n * Watching CBeebies or Disney films.\n\n * Bouncing, sometimes for hours, in the garden on his trampoline.\n\n\n\nThis role would suit someone who is calm, patient and eager to help enable Lee to be as independent as possible and to look at new ways of interacting in the community.\n\n\n\nHours of work\n\nYou would work a mixture of shifts between: 7am – 4pm or 3pm – 10pm\n\n\n\nA day in the life of a Support Worker would include:\n\n * Maintaining consistent and accurate records regarding c...
