Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor with Counterbalance Forklift
Location: Swindon
Salary: £32,000 per annum
Shift: Nights (No weekends)
Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Warehouse Supervisor with a Counterbalance Forklift license to join our team in Swindon. This role is perfect for someone with excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of warehouse operations, and the ability to manage and motivate a team. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety at all times.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise the daily activities of the warehouse team to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety guidelines.

Operate a counterbalance forklift to move and organize stock, ensuring all goods are stored correctly and easily accessible.

Monitor stock levels and ensure that inventory is accurately recorded and updated in the system.

Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse at all times, adhering to health and safety standards.
*
Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to ensure they meet productivity and quality targets.
*
Implement and maintain efficient processes to improve warehouse operations, reducing delays and errors.
*
Ensure all shipments are processed and dispatched on time, coordinating with other departments as needed.
*
Conduct regular stock checks and audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
*
Handle any issues related to warehouse operations, providing solutions and escalating when necessary.
*
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.
Requirements:

Valid Counterbalance Forklift License (essential).
*
Previous experience in a warehouse or supervisory role is highly preferred.

Strong leadership and team management skills.
*
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
*
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.

Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and health and safety regulations.

Ability to work night shifts with no weekends.
