Job Title: Warehouse Operative / Driver’s Mate
Location: Manchester
Pay: £12.21/hr + Overtime at £18.31/hr (after 8 hours)
Hours: Mon–Fri | 08:00–17:00
Breaks: 1 hour break deducted
Start Date: Mid-June 2025
A&G Resourcing Ltd is looking for Warehouse Operatives / Driver’s Mates to join a dynamic home furnishings company based in Manchester. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy physically active work and being part of a supportive team.
About the Role:
You will be working both in the warehouse and out on deliveries, assisting drivers with the loading, unloading, and installation of furniture. This role is ideal for those with a strong work ethic, good communication skills, and a hands-on approach to daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with loading and unloading furniture
* Help deliver and install furniture on-site
* Prepare stock and keep the warehouse organised
* Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed
* Provide excellent service to customers during deliveries
Requirements:
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
* Punctual, reliable, and a team player
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Previous warehouse or delivery assistance experience is a bonus, but not essential
